My route to Grabowsky was anything but conventional. During my previous job, I got to know Grabowsky as a partner and became familiar with their projects. Over time, I began to become increasingly interested in their organization, culture and people. The image I got from this matched well with my expectations of an employer. An informal, friendly atmosphere with colleagues and many challenges in the work.
Grabowsky is all about ensuring the agility and resilience of socially important organizations. This idea really appealed to me and I found it intriguing to be involved in protecting systems and safeguarding sensitive information.
I have been working in IT for 25 years, and the last four years on the CyberArk team have undoubtedly been the most challenging and exciting. We work with various aspects of IT and OT (operational technology), which means there are always new things to learn.
I have been with Grabowsky for over four years now and still have plenty of challenges to keep me enthralled and stimulated. Every day offers new learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to the security and growth of important organizations. Think large government agencies but also banks, insurers and commercial institutions. You are on the "right side" of society; I get a certain drive from that.
My ideal work week is a recipe consisting of different ingredients; I am flexible in where I work. This can be at home, at the client's or at our beautiful office in The Hague. Where there is space, I schedule time to learn new things. For example, I am interested in ethical hacking and I try to take training in that as well.
What makes Grabowsky as a company and its people so special? For me, it's all about the colleagues and the warm corporate culture. The sense of togetherness is essential, and the other activities such as the ski trip, poker tournament and team days certainly contribute to this!
